Water Code § 36.202","heading":"BOARD AUTHORITY.","body":"(a) The board may levy taxes for the entire year in which the district is created.\n(b) If territory is added to or annexed by the district, the board may levy taxes in the new territory for the entire year in which the territory is added or annexed.\n(c) The board shall levy taxes on all property in the district subject to district taxation.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 933, Sec. 2, eff.
