Water Code § 37.0045","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS FOR CERTAIN LICENSES.","body":"(a) This section applies only to a Class D license for wastewater operators or public water system operators.\n(b) In adopting educational attainment standards associated with the issuance of a license, the commission by rule shall establish a provisional certification program by which a person who does not possess a high school diploma or its equivalent may act as a provisional operator if the person:\n(1) has completed all commission-required training associated with the license;\n(2) has passed any commission-required examinations associated with the license; and\n(3) acts under the direct supervision of a license holder.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 131 (H.B. 1845), Sec. 1, eff.
