Water Code § 49.461","heading":"POLICY AND PURPOSE.","body":"(a) The legislature finds that:\n(1) the provision of parks and recreational facilities is necessary and desirable for the health and well-being of the people of this state; and\n(2) it is the policy of the state and the purpose of this subchapter to encourage persons in districts to provide parks and recreational facilities for their use and benefit.\n(b) Repealed by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 343, Sec. 8.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1423, Sec. 24, eff.
