Water Code § 51.176","heading":"RECEIVER FOR LEASED IRRIGATION SYSTEM.","body":"(a) If the district defaults in the payments due under a lease, the lessor may petition a court of competent jurisdiction to appoint a receiver for the leased properties.\n(b) The receiver shall operate the properties and collect and distribute the revenue according to the terms of the lease and the direction of the court.\n(c) The receiver has the same rights and powers as the board in its operation of the leased properties.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
