Water Code § 53.172","heading":"ORDERING BOND ELECTION.","body":"After the creation of a district and the qualification of the supervisors, the board may order an election in the district to authorize a bond issue. At this election, the board shall submit only a proposition authorizing the issuance of bonds and the levy of a tax to pay the bonds. The ballots shall be printed to allow for voting for or against the proposition: \"The issuance of bonds and the levy of taxes to pay the bonds.\"\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 414, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
