Water Code § 55.801","heading":"FAILURE TO FUNCTION.","body":"Subject to the provisions of Sections 50.251-50.256 of this code, if any district does not begin to acquire the necessary canals, ditches, flumes, laterals, reservoirs, sites, damsites, pumping plants, or other things necessary to the successful operation of the district or does not diligently pursue the purposes for which it was created within two years after its organization, the district may be dissolved without formal action.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 496, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
