Water Code § 55.802","heading":"RIGHTS OF DEBTORS IF DISTRICT FAILED TO FUNCTION.","body":"Any person with an interest in the district or a debt owed by the district may collect the debt in the manner provided for the collection of a debt due by any person, association of persons, or corporation. A court of competent jurisdiction may render judgment making the debt a lien against the property of the district and providing for the payment of the debt and judgment in the manner that a judgment for debt is enforced against a city or town that has been dissolved.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 496, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
