Water Code § 57.100","heading":"CONSTRUCTION OF LEVEES.","body":"(a) The district may construct the necessary levees, bridges, and other improvements across or under\n(1) railroad embankments, tracks, or rights-of-way;\n(2) public or private roads or the rights-of-way for the roads; or\n(3) levees, other public improvements, and rights-of-way of other districts.\n(b) A district may join its improvements to improvements in another district.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
