Water Code § 58.125","heading":"CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS.","body":"A district may construct all works and improvements necessary:\n(1) for the irrigation of land in the district;\n(2) for the drainage of land in the district, including drainage ditches or other facilities for drainage; and\n(3) for the construction of levees to protect the land in the district from overflow.\nAdded by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1537, ch. 627, Sec. 1, eff.
