Water Code § 58.440","heading":"ENGINEER'S REPORT.","body":"(a) Before an election is held to authorize the issuance of bonds, an engineer's report, which includes the plans and improvements to be constructed together with maps, plats, profiles, and data showing and explaining the engineer's report, shall be filed in the office of the district and shall be available for public inspection.\n(b) The engineer's report shall contain a detailed estimate of the cost of improvements, including the cost of any property to be purchased, and an estimate of the time required to complete the improvements to the degree to which they may provide service.\n(c) The board shall consider the engineer's report and may make changes in the report and note them in the minutes.\nAdded by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1537, ch. 627, Sec. 1, eff.
