Water Code § 58.508","heading":"UNLIMITED AUTHORITY TO COLLECT SERVICE CHARGES AND TAXES.","body":"The provisions of this subchapter do not alter or impair the right of a district:\n(1) to make, establish, and collect maintenance and operation charges for service rendered;\n(2) to levy and collect taxes to secure funds to maintain, repair, and operate all works and facilities; and\n(3) to give and maintain proper service for the purposes of its organization.\nAdded by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1537, ch. 627, Sec. 1, eff.
