Water Code § 60.032","heading":"AUTHORITY TO CONSTRUCT IMPROVEMENTS.","body":"The district may construct out of any of its funds, except interest and sinking funds, turning, storage, or yacht basins, harbors, or any facilities which may, in the judgment of the commission, be necessary or useful in the development and utilization of a waterway project for navigation purposes or in aid of navigation purposes. The district may own or lease dredges and other equipment for the construction or maintenance of those projects.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
