Water Code § 60.248","heading":"EFFECT OF ELECTION.","body":"If the commissioners court finds that a majority of those voting at the election voted in favor of the proposition, the court shall declare the results of the election to be in favor of conversion of the district and the levy of the annual maintenance tax and shall enter the results in its minutes. If the commissioners court finds that a majority of those voting at the election voted against the proposition, it shall declare the results of the election to be unfavorable to the conversion of the district and shall enter the results in its minutes.\nAdded by Acts 1983, 68th Leg., p. 4246, ch. 677, Sec. 2, eff.
