Water Code § 61.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"District\" means a navigation district created under Article III, Section 52, of the Texas Constitution.\n(2) \"Commission\" means the navigation and canal commission of a district.\n(3) \"Board\" means the navigation board.\n(4) \"Commissioners court\" means the commissioners court of the county in which the district is located or the commissioners court of the county of jurisdiction.\n(5) \"Commissioner\" means a member of the navigation and canal commission.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
