Water Code § 61.074","heading":"TERM OF OFFICE, REMOVAL, AND SUCCESSION.","body":"(a) Each commissioner shall hold office for four years and until his successor has qualified, unless sooner removed by a majority vote of the commissioners court or the board for malfeasance or nonfeasance in office.\n(b) All vacancies in the office of commissioner shall be filled for the unexpired term in the manner provided for the original appointment to the office.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
