Water Code § 61.152","heading":"PETITION.","body":"(a) If the board decides to exercise the rights, powers, and authority provided in this subchapter, it shall certify this desire to the commissioners court and shall submit a petition requesting that an election be held.\n(b) The commissioners court shall schedule a hearing on the petition not less than 30 nor more than 60 days after the date of the petition.
