Water Code § 61.160","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS; COMPENSATION; AUTHORITY.","body":"(a) Each commissioner shall be a freehold property taxpayer and a qualified elector in the district.\n(b) Each commissioner shall execute a bond and shall subscribe the required oath.\n(c) Each commissioner is entitled to receive the compensation provided by the board.\n(d) A majority of the commissioners shall have the authority to act, and all acts of the commission are subject to the supervision of the board.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
