Water Code § 61.169","heading":"CONTRACTS.","body":"The provisions governing the award of contracts by districts shall apply in all cases consistent with the provisions of this subchapter except that in case of emergency contracts may be let by the commission for not more than $5,000 without advertisement for bids.
