Water Code § 62.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"As used in this chapter:\n(1) \"District\" means a navigation district operating under the provisions of Article XVI, Section 59, of the Texas Constitution.\n(2) \"Commission\" means the navigation and canal commission.\n(3) \"Commissioner\" means a navigation and canal commissioner.\n(4) \"Board\" means the navigation board.\n(5) \"County of jurisdiction\" means the county in which the district or the greater amount of acreage of the district is located.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
