Water Code § 62.203","heading":"ISSUANCE OF REFUNDING BONDS; FORMALITIES.","body":"(a) A district which has outstanding bonds may, by order of the commissioners court of the county of jurisdiction and without submitting the proposition to an election, authorize and issue its refunding bonds for the purpose of retiring all or any part of its outstanding bonds.\n(b) The refunding bonds may mature serially or otherwise in not more than 40 years from their date.\n(c) The refunding bonds shall be executed in the name of the district by the county judge and county clerk under the seal of the commissioners court and shall in other respects have the details and be issued in the manner provided by the commissioners court in the order authorizing the bonds.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
