Water Code § 63.028","heading":"NOTICE OF HEARING.","body":"(a) The commissioners court shall order the clerk to give notice of the date and place of the hearing by posting a copy of the petition and the order of the commissioners court at the courthouse door and at four other public places inside the boundaries of the proposed district.\n(b) If the district is composed of more than one county, the notices provided in Subsection (a) of this section shall be posted in each county.\n(c) The notices shall be posted not less than 20 days immediately preceding the day set for the hearing.\n(d) The clerk is entitled to receive $1 for each notice he posts and five cents a mile for each mile necessarily traveled to post the notices.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
