Water Code § 63.159","heading":"COOPERATION WITH THE UNITED STATES.","body":"(a) The commission may cooperate and act with the United States in surveys, work, and expenditure of money in any matters relating to construction and maintenance of the canals and the improvement and navigation of navigable rivers, bays, creeks, streams, canals, and waterways.\n(b) To the extent that the United States aids in these matters, the commission may agree and consent to the United States entering and taking management and control of the work insofar as necessary or permissible under the laws and regulations of the United States.\nActs 1971, 62nd Leg., p. 110, ch. 58, Sec. 1, eff.
