Water Code § 65.205","heading":"ADOPTING RULES.","body":"A district may adopt and enforce reasonable rules to:\n(1) secure and maintain safe, sanitary, and adequate plumbing installations, connections, and appurtenances as subsidiary parts of its sanitary sewer system;\n(2) preserve the purity and the sanitary condition of all water controlled by the district;\n(3) prevent waste or the unauthorized use of water controlled by the district;\n(4) regulate privileges on any land or easement owned or controlled by the district;\n(5) provide and regulate a safe and adequate freshwater distribution system; and\n(6) ensure adequate safeguards in the performance of the district's fire-fighting activities.\nAdded by Acts 1983, 68th Leg., p. 2448, ch. 435, Sec. 4, eff.
