Water Code § 7.360","heading":"LIMITATIONS.","body":"A suit for a civil penalty that is brought by a local government under this subchapter must be brought not later than the fifth anniversary of the earlier of the date the person who committed the violation:\n(1) notifies the commission in writing of the violation; or\n(2) receives a notice of enforcement from the commission with respect to the alleged violation.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 543 (H.B. 1794), Sec. 2, eff.
