{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-204","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 10-20-204","heading":"Notice of public hearings and public meetings to consider general plan or modifications.","body":"(1) Each municipality shall provide:\n(a) notice of the date, time, and place of the first public hearing to consider the original adoption or any modification of all or any portion of a general plan; and\n(b) notice of each public meeting on the subject.\n(2) Each notice of a public hearing under Subsection (1)(a) shall be at least 10 calendar days before the public hearing and shall be:\n(a) published for the municipality, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for at least 10 days; and\n(b) mailed to each affected entity.\n(3) Each notice of a public meeting under Subsection (1)(b) shall be at least 24 hours before the meeting and shall be published for the municipality, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for at least 24 hours.","path":["Title 10 Utah Municipal Code","Chapter 10-20 Municipal Land Use, Development, and Management Act","Part 10-20-2 Notice"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title10/Chapter20/10-20-S204.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"4fd570f997dc982d4e6cb14d71a0b583d5cc7de93f404c425dc3de142671051e","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-203","next":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
