{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-613","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 10-20-613","heading":"High tunnels -- Exemption from municipal regulation.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"high tunnel\" means a structure that:\n(a) is not a permanent structure;\n(b) is used for the growing, keeping, storing, sale, or shelter of an agricultural commodity; and\n(c) has a:\n(i) metal, wood, or plastic frame;\n(ii) plastic, woven textile, or other flexible covering; and\n(iii) floor made of soil, crushed stone, matting, pavers, or a floating concrete slab.\n(2) A municipal building code does not apply to a high tunnel.\n(3) No building permit shall be required for the construction of a high tunnel.","path":["Title 10 Utah Municipal Code","Chapter 10-20 Municipal Land Use, Development, and Management Act","Part 10-20-6 Land Use Regulations - Particular Situations"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title10/Chapter20/10-20-S613.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"5dff4f6d6dd90b8de6ca5a6cab5c00d1fc5589baab0b4f04f17a543134d46ddf","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-612","next":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-614"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
