{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-625","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 10-20-625","heading":"Model homes and open houses.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Model home\" means:\n(i) a single-family home that the homebuilder uses to promote the sale or lease of another single-family home; or\n(ii) a unit within a multi-family residential structure that the owner uses to promote the sale or lease of another unit within the multi-family residential structure.\n(b) \"Open house\" means an event held by a homeowner, including an event in association with a real estate agent, architect, builder, or developer, to showcase a home, including the outdoor landscaping around the home.\n(2) The legislative body of a municipality may not regulate a model home or open house differently than a residential use.\n(3) Any ordinance regulating a model home or an open house differently than a residential use is void.","path":["Title 10 Utah Municipal Code","Chapter 10-20 Municipal Land Use, Development, and Management Act","Part 10-20-6 Land Use Regulations - Particular Situations"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title10/Chapter20/10-20-S625.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"716fe5e9b933590082999d42a49e1ae12dc60884a0bacefb4a8b2efa62569e6d","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-624","next":"us-ut/utah-code-10-20-626"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
