{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-10-3-713","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 10-3-713","heading":"Recording, numbering, and certification of passage.","body":"(1) The municipal recorder shall record, in a book used exclusively for that purpose, all ordinances passed by the governing body.\n(2) The recorder shall give each ordinance a number, if the governing body has not already so done.\n(3) Immediately following each ordinance, or codification of ordinances, the recorder shall make or cause to be made a certificate stating the date of passage and of the date of publication or posting, as required.\n(4) The record and memorandum, or a certified copy thereof, shall be prima facie evidence of the contents, passage, and publication or posting of the ordinance or codification.","path":["Title 10 Utah Municipal Code","Chapter 10-3 Municipal Government","Part 10-3-7 Municipal Ordinances, Resolutions, and Procedure"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title10/Chapter3/10-3-S713.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"985e363ace94f82c8500bc0d5bd54d5c4b3639e8ac9ef11c9e7c36ce20f354a1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-10-3-712","next":"us-ut/utah-code-10-3-714"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
