{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-11-44-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 11-44-201","heading":"Political subdivision responsibilities -- State responsibilities.","body":"(1) A political subdivision may:\n(a) enter into a performance efficiency agreement;\n(b) develop and administer a performance efficiency program;\n(c) analyze energy consumption by the political subdivision;\n(d) designate a staff member who is responsible for a performance efficiency program; and\n(e) provide the governing body of the political subdivision with information regarding the performance efficiency program.\n(2) The following entities may provide information, technical resources, and other assistance to a political subdivision acting under this chapter:\n(a) the Utah Geological Survey, created in Section 79-3-201;\n(b) the State Board of Education;\n(c) the Division of Purchasing and General Services, created in Section 63A-2-101; and\n(d) the Division of Facilities Construction and Management, created in Section 63A-5b-301.","path":["Title 11 Cities, Counties, and Local Taxing Units","Chapter 11-44 Performance Efficiency Act","Part 11-44-2 Performance Efficiency Programs and Agreements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title11/Chapter44/11-44-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"5b53694afa385f746b51411954b09540637b0776a8d76aefacf1131088865cb0","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-11-44-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-11-44-202"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
