{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-11-68-101","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 11-68-101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this chapter:\n(1) \"Authority\" means the State Fair Park Authority, created in Section 11-68-201.\n(2) \"Board\" means the authority board, created in Section 11-68-301.\n(3) \"Business related experience\" means at least three years of professional experience in business administration, marketing, advertising, economic development, or a related field.\n(4) \"Capital development projects\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 63A-5b-401.\n(5) \"Development\" means:\n(a) the demolition, construction, reconstruction, modification, expansion, or improvement of a building, utility, infrastructure, landscape, parking lot, park, trail, recreational amenity, or other facility; and\n(b) the planning of, arranging for, or participation in any of the activities listed in Subsection (5)(a).\n(6) \"Division\" means the Division of Facilities Construction and Management created in Section 63A-5b-301.\n(7) \"Executive director\" means the executive director hired by the board under Section 11-68-302.\n(8) \"Fair corporation\" means the Utah State Fair Corporation, created by Laws of Utah 1995, Chapter 260.\n(9)\n(a) \"Fair park land\" means the property owned by the state located at:\n(i) 155 North 1000 West, Salt Lake City, Utah, consisting of approximately 50 acres;\n(ii) 1139 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah, consisting of approximately 10.5 acres; and\n(iii) 1220 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah, consisting of approximately two acres.\n(b) \"Fair park land\" includes any land acquired by the authority under Subsection 11-68-201(6)(i).","path":["Title 11 Cities, Counties, and Local Taxing Units","Chapter 11-68 State Fair Park Authority Act","Part 11-68-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title11/Chapter68/11-68-S101.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"0ff4ba8e2d7577647dc8975e62f34c0cf03f64a79f72139aa75ca9b596f4abe3","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-11-67-101","next":"us-ut/utah-code-11-68-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
