{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-13-32-104","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 13-32-104","heading":"Receipts and transaction records -- Retention of receipts and transaction records.","body":"(1) Every vendor shall maintain receipts or a permanent record book for the acquisition of new and unused property which shall contain:\n(a) the date of the transaction on which the property was acquired;\n(b) the name and address of the person from whom the property was acquired;\n(c) an identification and description of the property acquired;\n(d) the price paid for such property; and\n(e) the signatures of the person selling the property and the vendor.\n(2) The receipt or record for each transaction required by Subsection (1) shall be maintained by the vendor for a period of not less than one year following the date of the transaction.","path":["Title 13 Commerce and Trade","Chapter 13-32 Swap Meets and Flea Markets Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title13/Chapter32/13-32-S104.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"286b88ed168a7e913fe2746d40dba77d055d137ca92cab829bb954774d27a3e1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-13-32-103","next":"us-ut/utah-code-13-32-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
