{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-13-39-102","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 13-39-102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this chapter:\n(1) \"Attorney general\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 77-42-102.\n(2) \"Contact point\" means an electronic identification to which a communication may be sent, including:\n(a) an email address;\n(b) an instant message identity, subject to rules made by the unit under Subsection 13-39-203(1);\n(c) a mobile or other telephone number;\n(d) a facsimile number; or\n(e) an electronic address:\n(i) similar to a contact point listed in this Subsection (2); and\n(ii) defined as a contact point by rule made by the unit under Subsection 13-39-203(1).\n(3) \"Registry\" means the child protection registry established in Section 13-39-201.\n(4) \"Unit\" means the Internet Crimes Against Children unit within the Office of the Attorney General created in Section 67-5-21.","path":["Title 13 Commerce and Trade","Chapter 13-39 Child Protection Registry","Part 13-39-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title13/Chapter39/13-39-S102.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"2603f55fed2617c7b7bd9dc88f567b91e082d5a52a29039cbddd860a1cc4ca5b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-13-39-101","next":"us-ut/utah-code-13-39-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
