{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-13-49-302","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 13-49-302","heading":"Accounting for services -- Receipts.","body":"(1)\n(a) An immigration consultant shall provide a signed receipt to a client for each payment that the client, or a person acting on the client's behalf, makes.\n(b) The receipt described in Subsection (1)(a) shall be typed or computer generated on the immigration consultant's letterhead.\n(2) An immigration consultant shall make a statement of accounting for the services rendered and payments made:\n(a) in the client's native language;\n(b) to the client every two months;\n(c) that is typed or computer generated on the immigration consultant's letterhead;\n(d) that lists the individual charges and total charges for services; and\n(e) that lists the payments the client makes.","path":["Title 13 Commerce and Trade","Chapter 13-49 Immigration Consultants Registration Act","Part 13-49-3 Operational Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title13/Chapter49/13-49-S302.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"5c9f40bea912d8d245802385be3c8424ca94ba547b89816387b3aedd7626dba7","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-13-49-301","next":"us-ut/utah-code-13-49-303"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
