{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-13-68-302","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 13-68-302","heading":"Accounting for services -- Receipts.","body":"(1)\n(a) A lawyer referral consultant shall provide a signed receipt to a client for each payment the client makes.\n(b) A receipt described in Subsection (1)(a) shall be typed or computer generated on the lawyer referral consultant's letterhead.\n(2) A lawyer referral consultant shall provide a statement of accounting for the lawyer referral services rendered and payments made:\n(a) in the client's native language;\n(b) that is typed or computer generated on the lawyer referral consultant's letterhead;\n(c) that lists the individual and total charges for services; and\n(d) that lists the payments made by or on behalf of the client.","path":["Title 13 Commerce and Trade","Chapter 13-68 Lawyer Referral Consultants Registration Act","Part 13-68-3 Operational Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title13/Chapter68/13-68-S302.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"22127d5b5d5450e33c66812f020c3525e6baab612c26947447c13c37b174144a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-13-68-301","next":"us-ut/utah-code-13-68-303"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
