{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-13-80-101","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 13-80-101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this chapter:\n(1) \"Delivery driver\" means an individual working for a food delivery service.\n(2) \"Department\" means the Department of Veterans and Military Affairs established in Section 71A-1-201.\n(3) \"Food delivery company\" means an entity that operates a food delivery service.\n(4) \"Food delivery dead zone\" means a defined geographic area in which a food delivery service may not:\n(a) permit the delivery or pickup of food; or\n(b) allow an individual delivering food on behalf of the food delivery service to enter.\n(5) \"Food delivery service\" means a service that:\n(a) facilitates the delivery of food from a restaurant or other food establishment to a consumer; and\n(b) conducts operations online or through a mobile application.\n(6) \"Military land\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 10-20-620.","path":["Title 13 Commerce and Trade","Chapter 13-80 Food Delivery Act","Part 13-80-1 Definitions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title13/Chapter80/13-80-S101.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"4e3cb3d0f93e8c13c5b7a02012dd6df104fe8857f7a0edef8d6d203a7d64dd93","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-13-79-104","next":"us-ut/utah-code-13-80-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
