{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-15a-1-208","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 15A-1-208","heading":"Standards for specialized buildings.","body":"(1) This chapter may not be implied to repeal or otherwise affect the authority granted to a state agency to make or administer standards for specialized buildings, as provided in:\n(a) Title 26B, Chapter 2, Part 1, Human Services Programs and Facilities;\n(b) Title 26B, Chapter 2, Part 2, Health Care Facility Licensing and Inspection;\n(c) Title 26B, Chapter 2, Part 4, Child Care Licensing;\n(d) Title 64, Chapter 13, Department of Corrections - State Prison; or\n(e) another statute that grants a state agency authority to make or administer other special standards.\n(2) If a special standard conflicts with a code, the special standard prevails.\n(3) This chapter does not apply to the administration of the statutes described in Subsection (1).","path":["Title 15A State Construction and Fire Codes Act","Chapter 15A-1 General Chapter","Part 15A-1-2 State Construction Code Administration Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title15A/Chapter1/15A-1-S208.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7d1a4d7b3a36d0915e056278aa5049b682730f1f2a817bbff5abb2297ff57eb8","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-15a-1-207","next":"us-ut/utah-code-15a-1-209"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
