{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-16-16-119","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 16-16-119","heading":"Resignation of agent for service of process.","body":"(1) To resign as an agent for service of process of a limited cooperative association or foreign cooperative, the agent shall deliver to the division for filing a statement of resignation containing the name of the agent and the name of the association or foreign cooperative.\n(2) After receiving a statement of resignation under Subsection (1), the division shall file it and mail or otherwise provide or deliver a copy to the limited cooperative association or foreign cooperative at its principal office.\n(3) An agency for service of process of a limited cooperative association or foreign cooperative terminates on the earlier of:\n(a) the 31st day after the division files a statement of resignation under Subsection (2); or\n(b) when a record designating a new agent for service of process is delivered to the division for filing on behalf of the association or foreign cooperative and becomes effective.","path":["Title 16 Corporations","Chapter 16-16 Uniform Limited Cooperative Association Act","Part 16-16-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title16/Chapter16/16-16-S119.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"1145ae4dca667e53d30d2a35518c82dfe73df7e335942e676c7ffbda29db408c","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-16-16-118","next":"us-ut/utah-code-16-16-120"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
