{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-16-16-1202","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 16-16-1202","heading":"Nonjudicial dissolution.","body":"Except as otherwise provided in Sections 16-16-1203 and 16-16-1211, a limited cooperative association is dissolved and its activities shall be wound up:\n(1) upon the occurrence of an event or at a time specified in the articles of organization;\n(2) upon the action of the association's organizers, board of directors, or members under Section 16-16-1204 or 16-16-1205; or\n(3) 90 days after the dissociation of a member, which results in the association having one patron member and no other members, unless the association:\n(a) has a sole member that is a cooperative; or\n(b) not later than the end of the 90-day period, admits at least one member in accordance with the organic rules and has at least two members, at least one of which is a patron member.","path":["Title 16 Corporations","Chapter 16-16 Uniform Limited Cooperative Association Act","Part 16-16-12 Dissolution"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title16/Chapter16/16-16-S1202.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"bf503d861af4d5171508dd5e4ea1fdeb8589153950459bf8e298156ca8096e4e","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-16-16-1201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-16-16-1203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
