{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-16-17-207","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 16-17-207","heading":"Change of name or address by noncommercial registered agent.","body":"(1) If a noncommercial registered agent changes its name or its address as currently in effect with respect to a represented entity pursuant to Subsection 16-17-203(1), the agent shall file with the division, with respect to each entity represented by the agent, a statement of change signed by or on behalf of the agent which states:\n(a) the name of the entity;\n(b) the name and address of the agent as currently in effect with respect to the entity;\n(c) if the name of the agent has changed, its new name; and\n(d) if the address of the agent has changed, the new address.\n(2) A statement of change filed under this section takes effect on filing.\n(3) A noncommercial registered agent shall promptly furnish the represented entity with notice in a record of the filing of a statement of change and the changes made by the filing.","path":["Title 16 Corporations","Chapter 16-17 Model Registered Agents Act","Part 16-17-2 Registered Agents"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title16/Chapter17/16-17-S207.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"4612cf1956d3d2cdb480375dc2ba9d513035b2e45d066b4ff27f077a1a49302b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-16-17-206","next":"us-ut/utah-code-16-17-208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
