{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-16-1a-408","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 16-1a-408","heading":"Change of name or address by a noncommercial registered agent.","body":"(1) If a noncommercial registered agent changes the noncommercial registered agent's name or address with respect to a represented entity, the noncommercial registered agent shall deliver to the division for filing, with respect to each entity the noncommercial registered agent represents, a statement of change signed by the agent that states:\n(a) the name of the represented entity;\n(b) the name and address of the noncommercial registered agent in effect with respect to the entity;\n(c) if the noncommercial registered agent changes the noncommercial registered agent's name, the new name; and\n(d) if the noncommercial registered agent changes the noncommercial registered agent's address, the new address.\n(2) A noncommercial registered agent shall promptly furnish to the represented entity:\n(a) a notice of the delivery to the division for filing a statement of change; and\n(b) each change made in the statement of change.","path":["Title 16 Business Entities","Chapter 16-1a Provisions Applicable To All Business Entities","Part 16-1a-4 Registered Agent Of An Entity"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title16/Chapter1a/16-1a-S408.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-10-08T05:55:33Z","sha256":"99979f65e73301d58d94f1b716e00bb8de6e723480e5aeb95fbd33371c5b777e","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-16-1a-407","next":"us-ut/utah-code-16-1a-409"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
