{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-17-70-103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 17-70-103","heading":"Ex officio auditor in certain counties.","body":"(1) In accordance with Sections 17-66-104 and 17-66-403, in counties having a taxable value of less than $100,000,000, the county clerk shall:\n(a) be ex officio auditor of the county, as described in Section 17-69-103; and\n(b) except as provided in Subsection (2), shall perform the duties of the office without extra compensation.\n(2) The legislative body of a county described in Subsection (1) may elect to pay the county clerk an additional amount, not to exceed the limits described in Subsection 17-66-403(1).","path":["Title 17 Counties","Chapter 17-70 County Clerk","Part 17-70-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title17/Chapter70/17-70-S103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"d93f86c5a4ef7f2a0734d08f8793da388e4cc06f2a917dcaece2c4da0c623ec9","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-17-70-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-17-70-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
