{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-17-79-620","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 17-79-620","heading":"High tunnels -- Exemption from county regulation.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"high tunnel\" means a structure that:\n(a) is not a permanent structure;\n(b) is used for the growing, keeping, storing, sale, or shelter of an agricultural commodity; and\n(c) has a:\n(i) metal, wood, or plastic frame;\n(ii) plastic, woven textile, or other flexible covering; and\n(iii) floor made of soil, crushed stone, matting, pavers, or a floating concrete slab.\n(2) A county building code does not apply to a high tunnel.\n(3) No building permit shall be required for the construction of a high tunnel.","path":["Title 17 Counties","Chapter 17-79 County Land Use, Development, and Management Act","Part 17-79-6 Land Use Regulations - Particular Situations"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title17/Chapter79/17-79-S620.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"c20b0ca78b6b0ff50e49831762c27918f61bf5bf26a1d141bf17e3d1c504f9db","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-17-79-619","next":"us-ut/utah-code-17-79-621"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
