{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-17b-1-1204","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 17B-1-1204","heading":"Notice of the hearing on a validation petition -- Amended or supplemented validation petition.","body":"(1) Upon the entry of an order under Section 17B-1-1203 setting a hearing on a validation petition, the special district that filed the petition shall publish notice, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for at least 21 days before the date of the hearing.\n(2) Each notice under Subsection (1) shall:\n(a) state the date, time, and place of the hearing on the validation petition;\n(b) include a general description of the contents of the validation petition; and\n(c) if applicable, state the location where a complete copy of a contract that is the subject of the validation petition may be examined.\n(3) If a district amends or supplements a validation petition under Subsection 17B-1-1202(3) after publishing and posting notice as required under Subsection (1), the district is not required to publish or post notice again unless required by the court.","path":["Title 17B Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Special Districts","Chapter 17B-1 Provisions Applicable to All Special Districts","Part 17B-1-12 Special District Validation Proceedings"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title17B/Chapter1/17B-1-S1204.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"eec26bd93d68f1957e1c107c70761f6d9c2d91ff3682c0892c4b40e45f3ed638","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-17b-1-1203","next":"us-ut/utah-code-17b-1-1205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
