{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-17c-1-807","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 17C-1-807","heading":"Additional requirements for notice of a development impediment hearing.","body":"Each notice under Section 17C-1-806 for a development impediment hearing shall also include:\n(1) a statement that:\n(a) a project area is being proposed;\n(b) the proposed project area may be determined to have a development impediment;\n(c) the record owner of property within the proposed project area has the right to present evidence at the development impediment hearing contesting the existence of a development impediment;\n(d) except for a hearing continued under Section 17C-1-803, the agency will notify the record owner of property referred to in Subsection 17C-1-806(1)(b)(i) of each additional public hearing held by the agency concerning the proposed project area before the adoption of the project area plan; and\n(e) a person contesting the existence of a development impediment in the proposed project area may appear before the board and show cause why the proposed project area should not be designated as a project area; and\n(2) if the agency anticipates acquiring property in an urban renewal project area or a community reinvestment project area by eminent domain, a clear and plain statement that:\n(a) the project area plan may require the agency to use eminent domain; and\n(b) the proposed use of eminent domain will be discussed at the development impediment hearing.","path":["Title 17C Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Community Reinvestment Agency Act","Chapter 17C-1 Agency Operations","Part 17C-1-8 Hearing and Notice Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title17C/Chapter1/17C-1-S807.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7c4065b50b9c67cac7c11d2e20df52bed55872c89c3940cfd5f415db4ca19331","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-17c-1-806","next":"us-ut/utah-code-17c-1-808"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
