{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-2-108","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 17D-2-108","heading":"Other statutory provisions.","body":"(1) This chapter is supplemental to existing laws relating to a local entity's acquisition, use, maintenance, management, or operation of a project.\n(2) Except as provided in this chapter, a local entity or local building authority that complies with the provisions of this chapter need not comply with any other statutory provision concerning the acquisition, construction, use, or maintenance of a project, including:\n(a) a statute relating to public bidding; and\n(b) Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code.\n(3) A local building authority is, to the same extent as if it were a special district, subject to and governed by:\n(a) Title 17B, Chapter 1, Part 6, Fiscal Procedures for Special Districts;\n(b) Title 17B, Chapter 1, Part 8, Special District Personnel Management; and\n(c) Section 17B-1-108.","path":["Title 17D Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Other Entities","Chapter 17D-2 Local Building Authority Act","Part 17D-2-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title17D/Chapter2/17D-2-S108.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"647f10cd16f397913bffb4a2320efa5e8a83e4f4b1094ecadff4162f70d7e12d","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-2-107","next":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-2-109"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
