{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-2-602","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 17D-2-602","heading":"Contesting the legality of a resolution or other proceeding -- No cause of action after contest period.","body":"(1) For a period of 30 days after publication of a resolution or other proceeding under Subsection 17D-2-601(1) or a notice under Subsection 17D-2-601(2), any person in interest may bring an action in a court with jurisdiction under Title 78A, Judiciary and Judicial Administration, contesting the regularity, formality, or legality of:\n(a) a resolution or other proceeding;\n(b) any bonds or a lease agreement authorized by a resolution or other proceeding; or\n(c) any provision made for the security or payment of local building authority bonds or lease agreement.\n(2) After the period referred to in Subsection (1), no one may have a cause of action to contest for any reason the regularity, formality, or legality of any of the matters listed in Subsection (1).","path":["Title 17D Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Other Entities","Chapter 17D-2 Local Building Authority Act","Part 17D-2-6 Contesting a Resolution or Proceeding"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title17D/Chapter2/17D-2-S602.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"a0db4a8b1befdf82f936a803b5ada268443c986d038c79cc5bdcb815f1b7d904","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-2-601","next":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-2-701"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
