{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-4-205","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 17D-4-205","heading":"Reporting -- Meetings of the board.","body":"(1) A public infrastructure district shall file annual reports with the creating entity regarding the public infrastructure district's actions as provided in the governing document.\n(2) A public infrastructure district shall comply with the requirements described in Title 59, Chapter 36, Tax Increment Financing Reporting.\n(3)\n(a) Notwithstanding Subsection 17B-1-310(2), and except as provided in Subsection (3)(b), a board shall hold regular and special meetings at a location within the boundaries of the public infrastructure district.\n(b) Subsection (3)(b) does not prohibit a board from holding a regular or special meeting at a location outside the boundaries of the public infrastructure district if:\n(i)\n(A) there are no locations in the public infrastructure district that are able to accommodate the board and the public that the board reasonably expects will attend the meeting; and\n(B) the location the board selects is near the public infrastructure district;\n(ii) it is not practicable to hold the regular or special meeting at a location within the boundaries of the public infrastructure district due to emergency circumstances; or\n(iii) the location the board selects is within the boundaries of the creating entity.","path":["Title 17D Limited Purpose Local Government Entities - Other Entities","Chapter 17D-4 Public Infrastructure District Act","Part 17D-4-2 Creation, Governance, and Powers of a Public Infrastructure District"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title17D/Chapter4/17D-4-S205.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"3783492a4092e1e88bd7fff74ca80d70bebef0da1e9770413e43e272870e8b88","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-4-204","next":"us-ut/utah-code-17d-4-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
