{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-17e-7-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 17E-7-201","heading":"Licensing of residences for persons with a disability.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"residential facility for persons with a disability\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 17-79-102.\n(2) The responsibility to license local programs or entities that operate a residential facility for persons with a disability, as well as to require and monitor the provision of adequate services to persons residing in those facilities, shall rest with the Department of Health and Human Services as provided in:\n(a) Title 26B, Chapter 2, Part 2, Health Care Facility Licensing and Inspection; and\n(b) Title 26B, Chapter 6, Part 4, Division of Services for People with Disabilities.","path":["Title 17E Counties and State Government","Chapter 17E-7 Counties and Other Executive Branch Entities","Part 17E-7-2 Department of Health and Human Services"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title17E/Chapter7/17E-7-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"26353831c23778f7633b79de9e319109f2ed3634f8a08e139f1a3ba2487ce449","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-17e-7-101","next":"us-ut/utah-code-17e-7-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
