{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-19-6-1203","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 19-6-1203","heading":"Reporting requirements.","body":"(1) A manufacturer may not offer a consumer electronic device for sale in the state unless the manufacturer, either individually, through a group manufacturer organization, or through the manufacturer's industry trade group, prepares and submits, subject to Subsection (2), a report on or before August 1 of each year to the department.\n(2) The report required under Subsection (1):\n(a) shall include a list of eligible programs, subject to Subsection (3); and\n(b) may include:\n(i) an existing collection, transportation, or recycling system for a consumer electronic device; and\n(ii) an eligible program offered by:\n(A) a consumer electronic device recycler;\n(B) a consumer electronic device repair shop;\n(C) a recycler of other commodities;\n(D) a reuse organization;\n(E) a not-for-profit corporation;\n(F) a retailer; or\n(G) another similar operation, including a local government collection event.\n(3) The list required in Subsection (2)(a) may be in the form of a geographic map identifying the type and location of an eligible program.","path":["Title 19 Environmental Quality Code","Chapter 19-6 Hazardous Substances","Part 19-6-12 Disposal of Electronic Waste Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title19/Chapter6/19-6-S1203.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"87ae39dbb15ebb506f7d49e169c102a6ed014ed2fd41967508e9d0159fe8385e","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-19-6-1202","next":"us-ut/utah-code-19-6-1204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
