{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-19-6-1307","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 19-6-1307","heading":"Violations -- Civil penalty.","body":"(1) Any person that violates a requirement of this part or any order issued or rule made under the authority of this part is subject to a civil penalty of not more than $10,000 per day for each day of violation.\n(2)\n(a) The director may enforce a requirement, rule, agreement, or order issued under this part by bringing an action in a court under Title 78A, Judiciary and Judicial Administration.\n(b) Notwithstanding Title 78B, Chapter3a, Venue for Civil Actions, the director shall bring an action in a court in the county where the solar panel waste is located.\n(3) The division shall deposit a civil penalty collected under this part into the account described in Section 19-6-1303.","path":["Title 19 Environmental Quality Code","Chapter 19-6 Hazardous Substances","Part 19-6-13 Testing And Disposal Of Solar Panel Waste"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title19/Chapter6/19-6-S1307.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"109112666028578268f1b63fd21f6042c8b74c1a6d77d06e7c87ec76632f9dbc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-19-6-1306","next":"us-ut/utah-code-19-6-1308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
